Mission

Thomas Edison American School is committed to providing the highest quality education in sciences, arts, letters and ethics. We are dedicated in educating students to be well-rounded, honest, and competent citizens who will be ready to lead others to a sustainable and just society in any country around the world.

OUR PROGRAM

Grades:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades offered in 2017. Beginning in 2018, a grade will be added each year until all grades through high school are offered.

Campus Facilities:
Biology Laboratory, Astronomical Observatory, and exploratory astronomy club. Educational film collection about the animal kingdom (vertebrates, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles), plants, and minerals. Classical music club. Sports and health club. Wi-Fi.

Teaching Staff:
Native teachers from the United States with bilingual Spanish-English teaching experience. Graduates from the University of Oregon.

Extracurricular Activities:
Each student will contribute a small portion to the club they are participating in as agreed upon by the club.

Monthly Payments:
From January to December 2023 Cost: US$ 100.00 monthly (non-refundable).

Beginning in January 2017, the school will have school and sports uniforms available for families to pick-up.

Families are required to purchase school books directly from the provider Pearson Publishing.

Registration Requirements:

  • Fill out information card
  • Report card from previous year of studies
  • Two wallet-size photos
  • Original birth certificate
  • Verification of vaccinations
  • Copy of eye exam and proof of hearing (no more than a year old)
  • Signed contract from Education Services
Family Discounts (siblings):
  • First student: 0%
  • Second student: 5% (each one)
  • Third Student: 10% (each one)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Students who enter into the 1st or 2nd grades in the 2017 school year will not have to pay the entry-fee which will be incorporated to new students beginning in the 2018 school year.

TEAS is located in Solingalpa, from the Catholic church 1 block to the south, in a 3.48 acre land; planned with proper facilities and classrooms. Location is in a silent zone, appropriate for an adequate learning experience for our students, with an amazing view, play and sports zones. In addition, it features with spacious parking lots for parents.
